	This special green tea is brewed from the young tender buds of the tea plant. White Tea is also known as White Down Silver Needle Tea, and this name accurately describes the tea leaves of this particular tea. Ten Ren’s White Tea is hand picked in spring before the buds blossom, therefore the tea leaves are long and thin and the white delicate hairs of infancy still cling to the leaves. These hairs give the tealeaves a lovely whitish-green color. Tea brewed from these baby leaves has a light, sweet honey taste and a tea liqueur that has a delicate, pale-yellow color. Recently this tea has become very well known for its health benefits. White Tea has a high amount of polyphenols, which leads to better health! Direction: BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Use 1 Tbs. of tea per 6oz. of water. Steep 1 to 2 minutes in hot, not boiling water (70°C/160°F). Leaves can be infused up to three times.
